Crohane Place- information from library website – Named after Crohane, the estate in Windmill Road (later Antigua Street) belonging to Richard James Strachan Harman (1826-1902). Crohane was probably named after the Crohane Mountain, East Kerry, Killarney in Ireland. Harman was born in Dublin, Ireland I don’t believe that I have ever walked on this street. …
