Deerwood Lane in Wigram – Continues the theme in the Broken Run subdivision of naming streets after high country farms. Named in 2015.
A tiny amount of information from the library website and I couldn’t find out where Deerwood high country farm is in New Zealand. Lots with that name in the US.
Only 7 houses here that were built in 2017 and they didn’t really stand out for me. No real gardens and mostly just lawns with a few shrubs. There wasn’t a footpath here and the street lead to Bendrose Park. You can also get to the cycleway/ walkway that is part of the Little River Link. Very close to the motorway and I imagine that it would get a lot of traffic noise. I had been geocaching in the area and managed to do this before it started raining.
