Asheridge Place in the suburb of Wigram, Christchurch

Asheridge Place in Wigram – Named after Asheridge, a homestead near Waimate, South Canterbury.Continues the theme in the Broken Run subdivision of naming streets after high country farms. Named in 2015.

A small amount of information from the library website and nothing that I can add about the name of the street.

Only 26 houses here and they were built between 2016 and 2018. Modern houses with a couple of ugly ones but I didn’t bother taking any photos. Mostly no gardens and just immaculate lawns with a few shrubs. Footpath on only one side of the street and near the end of the street there is a path that leads to Bendrose Reserve. I had been geocaching in the area and managed to walk this street before it started raining.
