Jack Rogers Rd in Halswell / Kennedys Bush – John William Rogers (1918-2013), known as Jack Rogers, was a long-standing member of the Kennedys Bush community and a key driver in the establishment of Halswell Quarry Park and its native plantings and quarry stone features. Note: The Halswell Residents Association has consulted with Mr Rogers’s widow, Jean Rogers, who was accepting of the proposal.
A reasonable amount of information from the council minutes and nothing that I can add about the name of the street. Street is too new to be on library website or maps. The builders are busy building houses on this street but they were having a lunch break when I walked past.
