Ron Guthrey Road – Named after Albert Ronald Guthrey (1916- 2008). Guthrey was mayor of Christchurch 1968-1971. First appears in street directories in 1991.
A small amount of information from the library website and they put this street in the airport zone as did many of the businesses here. Lots of rental car businesses here and it was a longer street than I realised when I walked it this morning. I could have just been getting hot as the day was starting to get really warm.
