George Bellow Road – Named after William George Patrick Bellew (1944-).Bellew was chief executive officer at Christchurch International Airport 1988- 2005.
A small amount of information from the library website. The library didn’t have this street under any suburbs but google maps and most real estate agents put in into the suburb of Yaldhurst. A couple of business claim to be in Avonhead but I think that it stretching it a bit. I tried to find a Press article where George Bellow was called Mellow Bellow but had no luck finding it.
It is near the airport and only businesses here. Also lots of empty sections available. There is no parking available along this street with yellow no parking lines everywhere. As the road is wide enough for parking I am assuming that there is no parking for security reasons. There is a footpath and yes I was geocaching in the area.
